🌿 ✨ WISDOM WEDNESDAY ~ Loosen Your Grip
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this deeply soulful episode, I reflect on a quiet yet powerful truth… that attachment can keep us from the peace we’re seeking. Together, we explore what it means to loosen our grip on expectations, outcomes, and the need to be understood. As you soften into trust, you begin to feel a beautiful shift—one that opens space for calm, clarity, and deeper alignment. This is your invitation to release, to trust, and to return to the steady, grounded wisdom within you.
Hey there, beautiful souls, and welcome back to Lotus M Mighty, a sacred space where we rise together, where hearts are held, and where your journey is honored with love, grace, and possibility. This is more than a place. It's a feeling, a soft landing place, and a reminder that you don't have to carry it all alone. I invite you to walk this beautiful journey with me, to breathe a little deeper, to soften into this moment, and to allow yourself to be supported, seen, and uplifted in ways that truly nourish your soul. If you're here today, it's not by accident. It means there is something within you that is already opening, seeking connection, welcoming encouragement, and gently remembering your own strength and beauty. And let me tell you the truth. You are exactly where you're meant to be. Right here, in this moment, on this beautiful path that is unfolding for you with purpose, with intention, and with so much love. I'm Michelle, your host, a proud mother of four, with my youngest, beautifully blessed with a little extra through-down syndrome. And my heart behind this space is to create a place where you feel seen, valued, celebrated, and deeply connected exactly as you are. Because you matter, your journey matters, and the way you show up in this world carries a ripple of love and impact far beyond what you can see. You are not just moving through your days. You are shaping hearts, holding space, creating connection, and planting seeds that will bloom in the most beautiful ways. You carry a light within you, a steady, radiant light that shines through your love, your strength, your presence. And here, together, we honor that. We protect it, and we allow it to expand abundantly, freely, and without limits. So soften your shoulders, take a gentle, grounding breath, inhale love, exhale anything you no longer need to carry, and just arrive here exactly as you are. Today we return to truth. There is a gentle truth that gently, a quiet truth that gently finds us. Often not in the loud moments of life, but in the stillness. A truth that whispers instead of shouts. Attachment is the root of suffering. And when we hear those words, it can feel heavy at first. Because we don't always recognize where attachment is living within us. It doesn't always look like holding on to something obvious. Sometimes it looks like wanting to be understood, needing things to unfold a certain way, hoping someone will respond differently, holding on to how we thought something should feel. And slowly, without even realizing it, we begin to tie our peace to those outcomes. We tighten our grip, not because we are controlling, but because we care, because we love, because we want things to feel aligned, safe, and meaningful. But here's the deeper truth, the one that sets you free. Peace is not found in controlling what unfolds. It is found in trusting yourself within it. When your peace depends on someone else's response, it feels heavy, unsteady, and fragile. But when you begin to loosen your grip, something shifts beautifully and gently. Your body begins to soften, your breath deepens without effort, your thoughts slow down, your heart opens in a way that feels spacious and calm. And in that space, you begin to feel something deeper than control. You begin to feel trust. Trust in yourself, your boundaries, your ability to stay grounded, even when life moves around you. You begin to understand that life does not need to be forced. It flows. And the more you soften, the more you allow, the more you trust. The more life meets you in ways that feel aligned, supportive, and expansive. The moment you release your grip on how things must unfold, you make space for life to show you how beautiful it can become. So close your eyes for a moment and imagine your hands wrapped tightly around a rope. You can feel the tension in your fingers. The effort it takes to hold on. Now gently begin to loosen your grip. Your fingers soften, your hands slowly open, the rope simply falls away. Your shoulders drop. Your breath deepens. There's nothing to hold anymore. Nothing to control. Just space. Just calm. Just you. You are not losing control. You are returning to peace. Your beautiful affirmation for today is I loosen my grip and trust life. I release the need to control what is not mine. I return to peace again and again. Beautiful soul, before you move on with your day, just take one more gentle breath with me. Inhale love and exhale all that you need to. Everything you need is already within you. You are growing, evolving, becoming, and you don't have to trust it or rush it. I'm so excited to be walking with you, right beside you on this beautiful journey. Gently guiding, reminding you, and holding space for the highest version of you to rise. So keep trusting yourself. Soften where you can, choosing what feels aligned and true. And most of all, keep blooming in your own beautiful rhythm. I'll meet you again right back here for our Thrive Through Thursday. As always, be brave, be strong, be kind to everybody, and always be mighty. Love ya.
