🌿 WISDOM WEDNESDAY ~ Even If Your Voice Trembles
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this Wisdom Wednesday, I’m talking about the courage it takes to speak honestly when your heart is fully in what you are sharing. Inspired by the words of Maya Angelou, we reflect on how vulnerability, trembling, and emotional honesty never lessen the power of your message—they reveal the courage behind it. If speaking your truth feels vulnerable, this episode will remind you that your honesty carries impact simply because it comes from the heart.
Hey there, beautiful soul. Welcome back to our Lotus Mighty. Today I am so grateful you're here for our Wisdom Wednesday message. After spending this week talking about the healing power of our voice and the sacred gift of listening, I want to speak to the part of us that still feels vulnerable when it comes to sharing our own truth. Because even when we know our voice matters, our heart may still race, our breath may still catch, and emotions may still rise. And if you know what that feeling is like, this conversation is exactly for you. There's a beautiful quote from Maya Angelo that says, There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you. Such a beautiful quote from Maya Angelo. I think so many of us understand exactly what that means. To carry truth inside your chest, a story inside your heart, and wonder whether sharing it will still matter. Because speaking from the heart can feel deeply vulnerable. When that what you're carrying is sharing mat what you are sharing matters, when it carries pieces of your healing and humanity, emotion naturally rises with it. Yet that trembling never lessens your power. It reveals your courage. Because courage is the willingness to let your truth rise, because it matters deeply to your heart. Some of the most powerful words you will ever speak may come with a shaky voice, teary eyes, or a trembling breath, and they will still carry profound impact, sometimes even more of an impact, because vulnerability is a way of making truth land deeper. When someone speaks from the heart, from the raw, real beauty, beautiful human place inside them, people feel it. They feel that sincerity, that depth, that courage it took to share. And that kind of honesty reaches people in ways polished perfection never could. So if your voice trembles when you speak your truth, let it rise anyway. Because every time you choose honesty, every time you allow your truth to be heard, every time you speak from the heart, you grow, you expand, you become even more of who you were meant to be. And your courage gives someone else permission to be brave too. Close your eyes for a moment if you're able to do so. And picture yourself standing before someone who needs to hear your truth. Your heart beats faster, warmth rises in your chest, your breath moves gently through your body, you place your hand over your heart, you inhale deeply, you feel your feet rooted to the ground, and then you speak. Your voice trembles slightly, yet your truth flows beautifully. With every word spoken, your confidence expands. Your beautiful affirmation for today is my voice carries courage. My truth carries purpose. My honesty creates connection. So today, beautiful soul, if there is truth living inside you, if there is something your heart longs to say, trust that your courage grows every time you allow your voice to rise. Your trembling reveals how deeply your heart cares. And that is absolutely beautiful. I'll meet you again tomorrow, where we'll talk about carrying this same courage into the rooms where advocacy asks you to stand steady. As always, be brave, be strong, be kind to everybody, and always be mighty. Love you. Have a wonderful day.
