This one is for the mothers who keep showing up in the hard rooms. Today, Iām speaking directly to the women navigating advocacy, difficult conversations, and emotionally charged spaces with love and courage. We talk about the quiet strength advocacy builds within us, the grounded leadership that grows through motherhood, and the beauty of learning to hold both softness and strength in the same breath. If advocacy has stretched your heart, this episode is here to honor the woman you are becoming through it.
Hey there, beautiful soul, welcome back to Lotus M Mighty. This is Hey there, beautiful soul, welcome back to Lotus M Mighty. I am so absolutely excited that you are here today for our Thrive Through Thursday. If you have ever sat in a room where your child's needs were being discussed and felt your heart pounding in your chest, if you have ever gathered your thoughts, studied your breath, and spoken through emotion because your child needed you to, this conversation is for you. Because today I want to honor the kind of strength advocacy quietly builds within you. There is something transformative about the rooms that we're asked to enter. The rooms where emotions run high. The rooms where every conversation feels personal because it touches someone you love so deeply. The rooms where you walk in carrying both tenderness and fierce devotion at once. And if you know those rooms, then you know advocacy asks something profound of us. It asks us to rise, to stay present when emotions swell, to gather our thoughts when our hearts are invested, to keep showing up with love, clarity, and courage again and again. That kind of love changes you because over time you begin to realize this work is about more than speaking up. It is about learning how to stay grounded in your truth. It's about carrying conviction with steadiness. It's about letting love lead while wisdom shapes your words. Some of the strongest advocacy I have witnessed has never been the loudest voice in the room. It's been the one who speaks with calm certainty. The person who stays rooted in love while holding firm in what she knows. The person whose presence alone carries the message. I am here because my child matters. That kind of energy shifts a room. And maybe you do not always realize it in the moment, but every hard conversation, every difficult meeting, every time you choose to keep showing up, it is shaping you too. It is strengthening your voice, deepening your intuition, expanding your confidence, and teaching you how to stand in your own knowing with greater peace. You may have entered this journey simply trying to protect your child. And along the way, you became the person who knows how to lead with both softness and strength. And that matters because your child feels that. They feel the safety of your presence, they feel the steadiness of your love, they feel the security of knowing someone keeps showing up for them with unwavering devotion. And beautiful soul, even when this work feels heavy, even when advocacy stretches your heart, and even when the emotions weight linger, emotional weight lingers long after the meeting ends, please remember this that what you're doing is sacred. Every question you ask, every boundary you hold, every room you enter with courage in your chest, it matters more than you know. So close your eyes for a moment, if you're able to do so, and picture yourself walking into a room that once felt intimidating. This time your shoulders are relaxed, your breath is steady, your feet are rooted firmly beneath you. You take your seat with calm confidence. Love fills your heart. Clarity fills your mind. When you speak, your words land with grounded strength. The room feels your steadiness. The room feels your conviction. The room feels your love. And in that moment, you remember you were grown for this. Beautiful soul, I just encourage you to continue to grow and showing up with love for you and for your family and whatever advocacy you have out there. I just know for myself, I have been in those rooms, and I have had to make hard conversations, have hard conversations, and I have had to stand in my strength and my belief in my child and in what was truly right, not just for my child, but for all children. Uh stages of trying to um changing the law in the state here, um, you know, because we knew that what was the previous law was not appropriate anymore for this day and age. And just that our child's quality of life means more than what that law had stated for him. And I just, you know, again, the advocacy we've done through school, we've had some really complicated, complex situations where truly what had happened was very wrong and inappropriate. And we had to stand our ground and advocate on our child's behalf. And we didn't just do that for him, but we did that for all students. We did that changing the law for all people in this state, and I just again moving forward, doing things through love and with love, and just knowing that you're put in these moments for a greater purpose, and your strength and your voice mean so much, and you know it's okay to walk into those meetings and your voice to shake, and it's okay to have show your emotions to others, and the work sometimes is very heavy, and it has definitely stretched me and grown me into the person that I am today, and I just am thankful for the purpose that I've been given and making these changes and just knowing that my child and all children deserve the best, and if that means us making those changes and advocating fiercely, it is what we need to do. Your beautiful affirmation for today is I advocate with grace, I lead with clarity, my love gives my voice strength. Such a beautiful affirmation. If we lead with love, that's what our purpose is. That's what our purpose is to make change and advocate through love. So today, if advocacy has stretched you lately, if caring so much for your child feels heavy at times, I hope you can pause long enough to honor the beautiful person this journey is shaping you into. Because beneath that exhaustion, and I know it's there, beneath those emotions, beneath every hard room you have walked through, there is a stronger, wiser, steadier version of you emerging. And she is extraordinary. I'll meet you again tomorrow for our beautiful Friday flow, where we soften into restoration, and remember that even the strongest voices deserve rest. As always, be brave, be strong, be kind to everybody, and always be mighty. Love ya. Have a wonderful day.
